The museum is rich of information and for the comfort of your visit, we recommend that you download the audio guide application: L'Aventure du Sucre, prior to your visit.
It is also recommended to bring your own earphones or headphones.
This application is available for free on the AppStore and Google Play platforms and allows our French, English, German, Chinese, Russian, Italian and Spanish visitors to discover the history of Mauritius and its people through the story of sugar.

It provides translations of relevant information on:

  • the main themes of the museum,
  • the special sugar and rum tastings in our craft shop,
  • our restaurant, Le Fangourin, with its sunshine cuisine full of Mauritian flavours and savours
